Beth Huang, she/her

Executive director

Beth is the Director at the Massachusetts Voter Table and works with over 25 community organizations to increase voter turnout and civic leadership in communities of color and working-class people in Massachusetts. As the Director of MVT, Beth serves on the Steering Committees of Raise Up Massachusetts and the Election Modernization Coalition and convenes Drawing Democracy Coalition, the grassroots redistricting coalition. Prior to joining MVT as the Field Coordinator in 2016, Beth worked at Jobs With Justice as the National Coordinator of the Student Labor Action Project. Beth is a senior trainer with the Midwest Academy.

Beth serves on the boards of directors of State Voices, Better Future Project, the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition, and Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts.

She hails from Wisconsin, where she became politicized through fights for workers' rights and racial justice, and holds a bachelors of science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Jordan Brandt, he/him
Data and targeting Director

Since September 2013, Jordan Brandt has served as the Data Manager of the Massachusetts Voter Table and of Mass Alliance. Prior to working with the Voter Table and Mass Alliance, Jordan worked as the Targeting and Data Director of the Montana Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign, where he oversaw all data operations for one of the major US Senate races in the country, as well as other local and statewide races. Prior to that, he had been the Data Director for Mass Uniting in Massachusetts. Before focusing on targeting and data, Jordan spent 6 years as an organizer for political campaigns and organizations, including as Regional Field Director for the Nevada State Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign, Regional Organizer for the Minnesota Democratic Farmer-Labor Party, and Minnesota State Field Director of Rock the Vote.


Saffiyah Coker, She/Her

Tisch scholar

Saffiyah Coker joined the Massachusetts Voter Table in September 2021 as the current Tisch Scholar through the Tufts University Tisch Scholar Program. Saffiyah grew up in Dorchester, Massachusetts, where she learned the value of community activism and the strength of the BIPOC community. While at Tufts University, she plans to major in International Relations & Economics. Since high school, Saffiyah has served her local community through non-profit work. She is passionate about advocating for and advancing all marginalized communities. In addition to the Tisch Scholars Program at Tufts, Saffiyah is a current Democracy Representative with JumboVote, a member of Tisch Council for Philanthropic Leadership, Women in International Relations, and a Student Consultant for 180 Degrees Consulting. Saffiyah’s dedication to improving life for students of color has led her to serve as the Co-Coordinator for the Tufts University Black Womyn’s Empowerment Conference. For Saffiyah, civic empowerment means actively working to rectify the injustices you see in the world and working as an active force of change.

Betsy Eichel-Englander, she/her

Development manager

Betsy joined the Massachusetts Voter Table as the Field Coordinator in May 2018. Previously, she was a tenant organizer at Housing Conservation Coordinators, a tenant advocacy and legal service organization in New York City. While there, she worked to build power among New York City renters, helped to form and organize tenant associations and advocated for pro-tenant policies on the city and state level. Before focusing on grassroots organizing, she was a case manager at a transitional shelter in New York and researched the causes of health disparities at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She earned a master’s degree in social work from Columbia University in 2013 and a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University in 2007.

Julia Kupferman, she/her
Organizing fellow

Julia joined the MVT team as a Tisch Summer Fellow in June 2020 and is continuing as an Organizing Fellow into the school year. She is a senior at Tufts University studying sociology, Spanish, and urban studies. Julia is excited to fight for racial justice and economic equality at MVT primarily through field work.


Kendra Patterson, she/her
Field coordinator

Kendra is an experienced organizer who has managed field teams for political races in every region of the United States (Nevada, Missouri, Michigan, Georgia, and Massachusetts.) Most recently, she served as the Field Coordinator for Yes on 1 for A Better Budget and Field Director for Mayor Kim Janey’s Campaign. She started her journey as a student organizer at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy Law & Justice with minors in Chinese and Political Science. Kendra is incredibly passionate about voter participation in BIPOC communities, and she is eager to transition her campaign experience to create community strength with the Massachusetts Voter Table and partner organizations.

BeLLA REVETT, she/her
data Manager

Bella serves as the Data Manager for the Mass Voter Table, working to support over 25 community organizations across the state. 

Before joining MVT, Bella managed a successful municipal election campaign in Cambridge, MA, and fought for electoral reform with the statewide campaign for ranked-choice voting, Voter Choice for Massachusetts. She has also worked with the climate resiliency non-profit Peace Rising in the search for local and global pathways to a greener and more equitable future. 

As an activist, Bella works with the Asian American Resource Workshop to fight for racial justice and support her community, with local tenant organizers, and with neighborhood growers to help improve our community's access to fresh food and a sustainable future. 

Bella holds a bachelor's in Anthropology from Smith College and an unwavering belief in the power of community.

Freddie Swindal, they/them
Field coordinator

Freddie joined the Massachusetts Voter Table team in August 2020. Freddie serves as a second-year fellow for the Episcopal Service Corps’ Boston chapter, Life Together, a program dedicated to forming young adult leaders in the tenants of communal, prophetic and contemplative learning and living. For Freddie’s first year as a Life Together Fellow, they served as a Care Navigator for the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. For their second year, they are working for Massachusetts Voter Table especially focusing on field work and how to best support MVT’s several partner organizations during this vital time. Freddie is an aspirational social worker who holds a bachelor’s degree in theology and Spanish from Fordham University.
