Collective Impact

Together, from 2011 to 2020, the Massachusetts Voter Table and our partner organizations have had conversations with over 500,000 unique voters in Gateway Cities and Boston. We have trained over 1,000 grassroots leaders and have influenced all levels of government, from municipal to federal.

MVT partner organizations made collective decisions on participating and supporting key local and statewide campaigns. With our partner organizations and allied coalitions, we have:

  • Increased funding for affordable housing by winning the Community Preservation Act;

  • Played a leading role in Raise Up Massachusetts to pass the Fight for $15 and Paid Family and Medical Leave;

  • Passed and implemented early voting and Automatic Voter Registration with the Election Modernization Coalition;

  • Led MassCounts’ mobilization for the 2020 Census.

Today, we are leading statewide efforts for fair and equitable redistricting, Election Day Registration, the Fair Share Amendment and progressive revenue.
